Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) - Chemical:

  • 3 years Diploma in Chemical/Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized Institute/University with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (TPS) Electrical/ Mechanical: 01 Post
  • 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University & Boiler Competency Certificate (with the class as may be prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the state); provided that in case of non-availability of a sufficient number of candidates meeting the prescribed Parameters, candidates possessing the following qualification may also be considered: 
  • Matric with ITI (Fitter) with Boiler Competency Certificate (with the class as may prescribe by the Boiler Authority of the state). 
  • B Sc. (PCM) with an Apprenticeship Training in Boiler Trade. 
  • 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate. Subject to the condition below: Candidate selected under Category (2) & (3) above and posted in Boiler Operations shall undertake to acquire Boiler Competency certificate within four years of joining the services of the Corporation.

Selection Process: 
Selection will be on the basis of performance in the Written Test of 02 (two) hours duration and Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) which will be of qualifying nature.

Educational Qualification:
  • Technician Apprentice - Mechanical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institute. 
  • Technician Apprentice - Electrical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute. 
  • Technician Apprentice - Telecommunication & Instrumentation: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) full-time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institute

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 16.10.2017.

Stipend: 
The Consolidated stipend of Rs. 7530/- per month shall be payable to the Technician Apprentices. Monthly Stipend shall be based on 90% of the semi-skilled wages of State or Central whichever is higher, for that location. The consolidated monthly stipend is subject to the periodic revision in minimum wages as applicable to a particular location. In case 90 % of the minimum wages of the semi-skilled workers for that location exceeds the current consolidated stipend of Rs. 7530/- per month, the stipend payable shall become 90 % of the minimum wages paid to semi-skilled workers + Rs. 2500 per month towards stationary, conveyance and miscellaneous expenses.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a Written Test & Personal Interview.
